Thank you to ADHD Care for helping with my daughter’s diagnosis, and for helping us learn more about ADHD and how it impacts people. We received sympathetic, professional support and advice throughout, which was great.

The Staff at ADHD CARE in Guildford have been exceptionally helpful during the process of having my grandson diagnosed with ADHD.
The initial testing was extremely thorough involving my grandson,his mother and teacher all completing tests online before the assessment at the specialist clinic with their psychologist.Wilma was professional and kind and put us at our ease.
We also found very informative the wide range of resources provided online by ADHD CARE and the in person workshop which I attended where I met the clinical Staff and other parents.

All parts of the process really well explained. Expectations on timescales managed well. Friendly supportive professionals who give advice when needed.

Following a thorough assessment both my children (17y son, 19 yr daughter) were diagnosed with combined ADHD. Both have very different traits which were identified over all sessions. Time to discuss each young person with the prescriber with them present was incredibly enlightening. Finally all the struggles we have had over their childhood made sense. The medication prescribed took time to evolve but once settled our whole lives have changed. Son can now focus, educationally has come on in leaps and bounds and considering a degree course for his future. Teachers have noticed a huge difference and he is so happy he can focus for the first time in his life. Daughter has finally understood why her emotions have been erratic. Medication has stabilised her and therapy is helping. She is using earplugs to reduce external noise. Her sensory rejection dysfunction is under manageable control and she is slowly working out how to communicate her traits to fit in with all her relationships. We are all so grateful to the team at ADHD Centre who listened with patience whilst ww unburdened all our problems on them! I couldn't rate them highly enough. I was first recommended to contact ADHD Care by a mental health practitioner following a realisation that the extra hours consuming my life, trying to keep up with my peers was unmanageable.

Following my diagnosis of ADHD, under the care of Archie, around 13 months ago.
It's fair to say that my lived experiences have improved DRAMATICALLY, because of the care and support from the team at ADHD Care.

Knowing how my brain works, it's weaknesses, defecits and it's strengths, has allowed me to become a better person, filled with less resentment for the things I've previously pushed myself to breaking point, failing to achieve.

I now have better supports, sympathy for myself and tools to overcome some of these challenges.

The challenges still exist, but they're exponentially more bearable and I know from experience that a sympathetic ear is only a call or email away.

We went for our daughter the staff were very warm and friendly makingbus all feel at ease. They never made us feel judged and made my daughter feel comfortable with everything. They explained everything fully. The process was quick and the results are instant and reports are promptly sent. Much faster than waiting and the cost was relatively cheap compared to some if the people and places I looked at. The staff were very professional. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who may need a diagnosis or just some answers.

Quick efficient and good - practitioners easy to get along with and comprehensive report at the end.

I would have liked to have some ideas I could have used to help support Daniel, it was basically a diagnosis and I now find it difficult to know where to go next.

The report gives some advice but I was expecting more ideas we haven't tried.

Tyler was seen by Archie in December 2021, after a couple of years struggling with his behaviour and impulse issues. Archie worked with us and assessed Tyler and has navigated us through the diagnosis and medication and Tyler’s behaviour has improved so much that his teachers gave him high praise in his end of year report. Archie has been very understanding and supportive and I can’t thank him enough.

As both parent and professional, i could not fault the service we received. From the initial conversation where no question was too silly to ask through to the diagnosis and support materials, the service offered exceeded my expectations. I would happily recommend to other families in my professional capacity as SENDCo too.

We struggled with the NHS and CAMHS for a number of years to get an ADHD diagnosis. Finally, we felt we could not wait any longer. As soon as we went to ADHD Care, the response was immediate. After an initial assessment, our 9-year-old daughter was diagnosed as having ADHD, with severe impulsivity. The diagnosis has helped enormously at school and she is now well on the way to getting an ECHP. Archie, our ADHD practitioner, is brilliant and I cannot recommend him enough. He is thorough and understanding. We experimented for a few months with different medications and doses and are now settled happily with the chosen meds. We are back with the NHS who are prescribing the same. Thank you, ADHD Care!

We have recently switched our son's care to this clinic. We have been delighted with the service we have received. Both in terms of the efficiency and ease of making the appointment and follow ups etc but also the appointment itself. Archie made Bobby feel totally at ease (and me also!). I understood more about the different types of medication after the appointment than anyone had ever explained or offered to us before. I felt very confident in the advice and the service. Have since recommended to friends and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

We are so please we took our doctor's advice when she referred us to Archie Chimanayi and ADHD Care Ltd, we received a prompt appointment for my son, he was very professional and has an excellent nature for working with children. He worked with my son to gain his trust and was able to help us. Now we have the diagnosis we can move on to the next stage.

I felt supported the whole time, left every appointment with a sense of hope, and was transferred to my GP for continuation within a couple of months! Archie is kind and understanding, making me feel seen and heard. The medication process was also very smooth. I am so glad I made the decision to book with ADHD care. They made booking so easy and are very accommodating with days/times and use of another site in Banstead. I was offered an appointment very quickly and after completing some easy forms I was seen by Archie and received my diagnosis there and then. Archie is very easy to talk to and makes you feel really comfortable. I wish I had made the appointment years ago.

Have worked with Archie and ADHD Care on referral from a therapist to diagnose and begin treatment on my ADHD as diagnosed in adulthood. The treatment and discussions around the disorder have been insightful and caring. I feel they took into account, with great care and sensitivity, my background of chemical addiction when working towards a diagnosis and deciding on a path forward with treatment.

ADHD Care ltd have changed my life! The entire experience was so swift and clear. I had some difficulty with my GP with regards to taking on the shared care (just because I'm in Northern Ireland), but Archie was so helpful and saw me right through until I got transferred at home. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much again!

I chose ADHD Care Ltd as it was the most reasonably priced testing centre in the area (the NHS has a borderline ironic 20 month waiting list for ADHD testing). Archie came recommended by another centre that I called while I was doing my research.

He has been absolutely professional, well humoured, welcoming and efficient. He knows his sh*t and is flexible with sessions and adapts to client needs. ADHD Care Ltd is well located (left of the Olivo - google had me running around the houses and the numbers don't make sense on that road).

Once diagnosed during a session that took 2 hours, that I feel was thorough and accurate, medication options were explained clearly to me along with other options. I was never under any pressure to take anything at all, but I have found Archie's recommendation, that I took my time to consider and research independently following his advice, has worked well for me. The information he provided has been helpful and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

I was invited to a session to meet others with ADHD and found that to be useful and it was interesting to hear how others have handled the condition over their lifetimes.

The whole experience, from the initial conversation to diagnosis and then patient feedback and recommendations was impressive. Lots of detailed information and recommendations given to us and the school.

I have been very very grateful for being able to access Archie's service at a very time-critical point in my life when, due to a change made on advice of my GP, I found my long-standing ADHD treatment was no longer allowing me to function effectively in my professional life, and difficulties also arose in my personal life. Archie's ability to place a person at ease has made it easy to be open about my issues, on a more personal level in terms of my relationship, as well more practical level in terms of my work, and current study. The treatment has been truly collaborative, with Archie taking on board the details I have provided during treatment monitoring sessions, and working with me to find an appropriate treatment type, and extent.

I am grateful to have been able to promptly access his knowledge and expertise. Had I not, I am in no doubt that a serious crisis in my work life would have occurred, whilst equally serious difficulties (compounded by resultant stress) would have significantly tested my most important personal relationship, the loss of which I am certain would have proved catastrophic for me and my future happiness and wellbeing.

I am also grateful to have found a clinician with a patient, calm, non-judgmental, faultlessly professional and collaborative approach. I believe that in ADHD treatment, with a condition which in many ways straddles neurology and psychology, thereby holding a degree of subjectivity, this collaborative but professional approach is absolutely vital. Without hesitation I have already recommended him to a colleague who self reported a childhood-adulthood history of ADHD-type difficulties and would do the same again.

As an adult I did quite a bit of research into who I should use to see whether or not I had ADD. I eventually chose ADHD Care and have been very satisfied in the approach they took, the interactions with them pre-, post- and during my diagnosis session and with Archie himself.

I think the costs were reasonable given the time spent by ADHD Care.

I cannot recommend ADHD Care highly enough. Archie Chimanayi and his team have been attentive, sensitive and practical in guiding me through assessment and treatment. As an adult in my 30s I was nervous about taking this leap, but ADHD Care has made it as easy and affordable as possible, finally helping me deal with problems that have plagued me my entire life.

I contacted Archie for an adult ADHD assessment. I was sent a number of helpful questionnaires which allowed my family and myself to really understand and pin-point my symptoms. Both my childhood and current symptoms were required. I then had the assessment; where we covered everything in detail. I also took a test which determined my level of distraction; which we found to be high. Archie took time to look over my letter and all the questionnaires he had received. Combining both the pre-session information with the session information to write a thorough and detailed report of my ADHD condition. I am now using this to seek further treatment through CBT. I went to ADHD care ltd after being advised to by family. Although aware I had issues regarding ADHD I was not aware of the change in my life this visit would create. Archie was kind, understanding and thorough in his assessment. His understanding of what I was experiencing was apparent and I took great comfort in that. It was considerably faster than going through the NHS but doesn’t exclude you from using them later down the road to continue treatment. As such I now know that I have a viable long term solution to my ADHD issues. If you think you have ADHD or know someone who does I can not recommend this service high enough. It’s truly life changing, go get assessed.

Archie was extremely helpful and informative when I saw him with my son. He was really patient with him and set a really calming environment.

Our son's school initially raised concerns regarding hyperactive and impulsive behaviour and suggested an evaluation for ADHD. Archie, from the moment I spoke to him was kind, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. During the evaluation, Archie made our son feel at ease and quickly got to grips with his troubles, helping him and us to make sense of many of the challenges posed by ADHD. Feedback was immediate and reported in an empathetic, positive and constructive way.

We cannot speak highly enough of Archie's professionalism. He was quite simply a breath of fresh air and we look forward to attending his workshop and meeting other parents for sharing experiences.

I contacted ADHD Care by email and received a response very quickly from Mr Chimanayi. The whole process was explained and we had an appointment booked within a matter of days. My 14 year old son was at complete ease with Mr Chimanayi and he explained everything very clearly to us both. After a diagnosis of ADHD and ODD we then went on to make an appointment with Dr Wanijar who explained ADHD and ODD further to my son so he understood everything and he is now starting on medication. After years of my son feeling like he was just a very angry and hard to deal with child and myself feeling the same way, it is great to understand that there is a reason behind this and there is also help out there. I am very grateful for finding ADHD Care.

We contacted ADHD care after a referral from our GP said it would be several months before we could expect to hear about an appointment and with exams approaching time not on our side. The referral was re-directed to ADHD care and they have been outstanding in their understanding and response. We saw the wonderful Dr Wariyar 2 weeks later and were so impressed with his holistic and full family approach, knowledge and care, he explained everything so well that our understanding has improved considerably. Our son said he felt that a great weight had been lifted from him and we now feel confident that he is progressing well and alongside his medication he has techniques and guidance in place to help him achieve his potential.

We were seen by Dr Wariyar, Consultant Community Paediatrician at ADHD Care within 24-hours of requesting for an appointment, which we were so grateful to him for as we know he doesn’t normally work on weekends.

The clinic appointment went very well. Dr Wariyar gave us some solid advice, skills, medication and most importantly Hope!

As a family we came away from the meeting feeling so much positive about our daughter's future.

Dr Wariyar was charming, informative and just a really lovely Doctor/Person. He was great with our daughter and made us all feel very comfortable, even though it was emotional at times.

He was very thorough and really helpful. My son left with a smile on his face and his school tutor contacted us the following day to say that my son came back to school as if a weight had been lifted.
